elcome to the Indiana Outpost website. We are dedicated to the restoration of men’s hearts through Jesus Christ. To discover what it means to really live, to re-capture what has all too often been lost of our glory.

The Indiana Outpost is a fellowship of men who are bound through the common experience of John Eldredge's Wild at Heart message and their realized parts in God’s greater story. Each of us has a part to play in the story, but are we really living it? Do I have what it takes to do it? The answer is a resounding YES, you do! You just have to realize your glory in Christ. How do you do that? That is what we are about, finding the answer.

If you are reading this, you are doing so not by chance, but by design. You may be sitting there, in front of your computer reading this without any clue as to how you got here, what you are doing here and why you continuing reading. You may have had a friend direct you here but are unsure what he was talking about concerning your heart and living fully as Christ intends you too. Rest assured you are not alone in this experience.

You may have questions or thoughts in your life that have driven you on a quest of sorts. Questions and thoughts such as; ‘Is this all there is in life?’, ‘Is this all there is in my Christian life?’, ‘Why don’t I feel like getting out of bed on Sunday morning?’ ‘How can I make a difference in Christ’s kingdom?’, ‘I’m so pathetic’, the list goes on and on… Many men have these questions and others concerning their faith (or lack there of), their walk with God or just life in general. We have resigned ourselves to accept these questions as rhetorical and to not pursue the answers out of fear of the answers, out of a sense of duty to maintain a Christian regimen, or whatever else is thrown at you when you start to explore the questions.

Stop to consider this, every time you start down a path to draw your heart out, wham, you get blindsided by life, circumstances or whatever. What is that about? Is it coincidence? No, it is not. The last thing Satan wants is a man fully alive, to have his heart back, to be restored to a full relationship with the creator of all things, to recognize his position in the kingdom of God. To Satan, that man is dangerous. That man can make a difference.

To that end, we invite you to explore what part you play in God’s larger story, to rediscover the dreams of your youth and your heart, to open your eyes fully to God’s glory and your position in Christ’s work of the cross, resurrection and ascension. The start of this journey is difficult and the walk is not without pain, but the rewards of a man fully alive to Christ are immeasurable.
